Lanzamiento: El Tranco del Pueblo de Gabriel Salazar
La obra del Premio Nacional de Historia es un documento interno del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) escrito en uno de sus períodos más críticos: después de la caída de la dirección clandestina de Malloco y en pleno desarrollo de la Operación Retorno. Un rescate histórico publicado por Proyección Editores que se presentará el próximo domingo 25 de octubre en FILSA 2015.
El Tranco del Pueblo. Alternativas políticas de la izquierda revolucionaria es más que un texto sobre el MIR. Sobre esta organización existe una amplia literatura, que parece haberse acelerado a propósito de los cincuenta años de su fundación. Es un documento orgánico, preparado para un congreso que no llegó a tener lugar y que pretendía reorientar la estrategia de la organización ante la posibilidad de su debacle y desaparición.
El Tranco del Pueblo fue escrito por Gabriel Salazar como militante del MIR, durante su exilio en Reino Unido a fines de la década de 1970. Es un documento que recrea la marcha del pueblo chileno tras el Golpe y el camino revolucionario que inició.
El Tranco del Pueblo también repasa los principales dilemas que experimentó el MIR en la década de los ochenta: la estrategia, el programa, la táctica y su política hacia las masas.
En Chile, el sector de la izquierda que se reclama de intención “revolucionaria”, se ha visto, lo quiera o no, interpelado desde la historia del MIR. Es por ello que El Tranco del Pueblo se presenta como un medio para volver a encontrarse con las apuestas y debates que se vivieron al interior de dicha organización. Pero, sobre todo, se presenta como una herramienta para reflexionar acerca del momento político que vive el país y las actuales formas de lucha y organización política de la izquierda revolucionaria en Chile.
El lanzamiento contará con la participación de los historiadores Gabriel Salazar y Mario Garcés, y se desarrollará en la Feria del Libro de Santiago 2015, Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho, el próximo domingo 25 de octubre, a las 19:30 horas, Sala Acario Cotapos.

I use firefox and some nights at 12:00 exactly or 12:30 exactly, firefox stops working and does not load a page. The internet connection is perfectly fine though because it says excellent. I am connected to a home router and the signal strength is always excellent. I do not know why this happens at exactly 12:00 or 12:30 on my desktop time but it’s a pain.
