Última hora: profesores y profesoras se manifiestan frente a La Moneda
Desde las 20:30 horas de hoy, profesores y profesoras de la Comuna de Providencia se autoconvocaron en la Plaza de la Constitución para exigir una respuesta de La Moneda, y en particular de Michelle Bachelet, al conflicto en torno al proyecto de Carrera Docente.
Sosteniendo velas y reunidos en torno a un lienzo con la frase “Presidenta: las y los docentes de Chile merecemos una solución”, varias decenas de profesores y profesoras vuelven a salir a la calle, ahora un domingo por la noche, para mostrar que sigue activo el paro indefinido que comenzó el 1 de junio, hace casi un mes. La principal exigencia del profesorado ha sido crear un nuevo proyecto con principios pedagógicos, en medio de la patente falta de voluntad de parte del Gobierno, a través del ahora ex Ministro de Educación, Nicolás Eyzaguirre, para abordar las reivindicaciones de las y los profesores. “Se nos ha juzgado injustamente, pero esta situación que afecta a niños y jóvenes se debe a la intransigencia del propio gobierno”, dice Pamela Quiroga, profesora del Liceo Arturo Alessandri Palma. “Después de cuatro semanas de paro, nosotros somos los que más queremos volver a trabajar”, agrega.
Una de las claves del impasse entre el Gobierno y el magisterio ha sido el enfoque mercantil y competitivo que persiste en el proyecto de Carrera Docente presentado por el Ejecutivo, en contraste con la exigencia de las y los profesores de que una nueva Carrera Docente se construya a partir de las necesidades de la práctica pedagógica, el rol de las comunidades educativas y la dignidad docente.
Por ello es que esta semana la Campaña “Para una nueva educación: dignificar la carrera docente” presentó en una conferencia de prensa los aspectos fundamentales para una Nueva Carrera Docente.
