A finales de Abril del año 2013 se llevó a cabo una huelga histórica en el rubro de las comunicaciones, se trataba de los trabajadores de la conocida radio ADN perteneciente al consorcio radial Iberoamericana Radio Chile, filial Chilena del Holding comunicacional mas importante de Hispano América, nos referimos al grupo PRISA que también posee periódicos como el País de España y cadenas de televisión como el canal + . Las demandas de los trabajadores en aquel tiempo dejaban al descubierto las pésimas condiciones laborales y de salario que sufrían los periodistas de esta emisora radial donde algunos ganaban menos del mínimo, luego de la movilización el sindicato dejó de estar en el centro de la noticia hasta el día viernes 10 de Octubre del 2014 cuando un despido a un dirigente sindical dejó al descubierto una grave practica antisindical. A continuación difundimos el comunicado de los compañeros del sindicato IARC.

DECLARACIÓN PÚBLICA
El viernes 10 de octubre la gerencia de Ibero Americana Radio Chile (IARC), el holding que concentra once emisoras a nombre del Grupo Prisa, de capitales extranjeros, determinó el despido del periodista Juan Guerra Aguilera, quien hace meses fue electo secretario de nuestro sindicato y es considerado uno de los mejores profesionales del medio en el área de educación.
Denunciamos que esta acción vulnera las leyes chilenas y se constituye en una manifiesta práctica antisindical, la que busca intimidar a un grupo de profesionales cuando el Segundo Juzgado del Trabajo de Santiago está por dictar sentencia en la demanda de unidad de Rut en contra de IARC, con la que buscamos defender los derechos fundamentales que contempla la Constitución, para que las y los trabajadores de toda la empresa tengan opción a sindicalizarse.
Esta acción de las autoridades de una compañía transnacional irrespeta las normas locales y muestra la peor cara empresarial en el trato hacia sus funcionarias y funcionarios, intentando atacar a una organización sindical que quiere dar voz a quienes desean cuidar sus derechos.
Por esto criticamos la argumentación falaz de “necesidades de la empresa”, cuando IARC ha mantenido la contratación de personal durante todo este tiempo, paga remuneraciones a sus gerencias que son más de 50 veces el monto promedio que reciben sus trabajadores cada mes y acumulaba ganancias en millones de euros a inicios de 2014. Cualquier mala gestión de las autoridades de la empresa no la pueden costear los trabajadores y sus familias.
Más crítico es que este capítulo pone en entredicho el proyecto periodístico de Radio ADN. Sus jefaturas no fueron consultadas en este despido injustificado, vulnerando el procedimiento habitual y generando un vacío en las determinaciones que toman los encargados de contenidos de la emisora, y cuestionando el accionar que han desarrollado desde 2008 sus equipos humanos.
Nos preocupa que un medio de comunicación de alcance nacional y cuya base siempre fue generar un contenido amplio y representativo de todos los sectores, pretenda ser convertido en un proyecto sesgado que falte al compromiso ético de informar que debe poseer el periodismo en resguardo del Derecho a la Información y la Libertad de Expresión. Valores que nos ha delegado la sociedad de nuestro país y que siempre respetó el profesional injustificadamente despedido.
Nos preguntamos cómo nuestros periodistas, comunicadores y rostros, podrán interpelar a un entrevistado sobre derechos en el mundo del trabajo o comentar la reforma laboral, cuando en esta empresa se transgreden las leyes, el derecho a organizarse y se despide a un dirigente sindical.
Creemos que desarrollar empresa en Chile debe estar siempre bajo la legalidad que impera en nuestro territorio y que en el manejo de un bien nacional de uso público como es el espectro radiofónico, se requiere que sus administradores sean cuidadosos con todos los ámbitos que una actividad como ésta genera. Por eso llamamos a las autoridades del Grupo Prisa a cuidar sus intereses en nuestro país, vigilando el desprolijo y riesgoso manejo que están desarrollando las gerencias de Ibero Americana Radio Chile en el último tiempo.
Al finalizar queremos anunciar que en los próximos días interpondremos acciones judiciales en los Tribunales del Trabajo, para que se sancionen las prácticas antisindicales que hemos vivido, y así nuestro compañero y dirigente sea reintegrado cuanto antes a sus labores.
